Webull Prediction Market Sports Events Contracts Investigation

Wolf Popper LLP is investigating Webull, the popular online trading platform for self-directed investors, in connection with its offering of sports event contracts through Kalshi, the largest operator of “prediction markets” in the world. Unbeknownst to Webull’s users, however, “prediction markets” may be nothing more than unlicensed gambling platforms that violate the laws of several states. By offering sports event contracts through its platform, Webull may have potentially violated gambling laws, engaged in illegal deceptive activity, and unjustly enriched itself at the expense of consumers.
