Defendant Chosen Foods LLC sells various products that they claim are made with pure avocado oil, such as mayonnaise and salad dressings.  Their website and marketing stress the use of avocado oil and tell their customers that they don’t include seed oils in their products ever.  However, testing from researchers at UC Davis shows that their products do not actually contain pure avocado oil. As a result, consumers have been paying a premium for a product that does not contain a premium ingredient.
