Chet Waldman, senior partner at Wolf Popper LLP, has been named to Law360’s Consumer Protection Editorial Board for 2026. He is one of just 12 lawyers to be named to this year’s board.
Individuals on the editorial advisory boards contribute meaningful insights to Law360 on significant cases and trends within their practice areas to shape and improve Law360 coverage. While hundreds of attorneys contribute articles to Law360, only a handful are chosen to serve on an Editorial Board.
Chet has been at Wolf Popper for over 35 years, where he has executed extensive work in consumer fraud litigation, federal securities class actions, as well as state and federal merger & acquisition litigation.
Chet’s recent work on consumer litigation cases such as Capital One 360 Savings Account Interest Rate Litigation, Axos Bank d/b/a UFB Direct Litigation, and Tarzana Emergency Medical Associates, Inc. Surprise Billing Litigation make him an excellent addition to the Law360 Consumer Protection Editorial Board. His work has covered a broad variety of matters including multiple surprise bill litigations, cases against title insurance companies, banks, tax services companies and cases involving false labeling claims. Chet’s legal achievements have been recognized by Super Lawyers as one of the Top lawyers in the New York metropolitan area in securities litigation from 2009 through 2021, and in consumer law from 2021-2025. He has also been recognized by Lawdragon as a Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer and Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer for 2025 and 2026.
We are proud one of our attorneys has been selected to serve on Law360’s Consumer Protection Editorial Board for 2026.
