On August 3, 2026, Wolf Popper filed a related complaint against Robinhood Markets, Inc. and Robinhood Derivatives, LLC. The complaint, which adds claims on behalf of residents of Texas, Utah, and Washington, alleges that Robinhood Markets, Inc. and Robinhood Derivatives, LLC operated an unlawful sports gambling platform through their Prediction Markets Hub by marketing sports event contracts as legitimate financial investments rather than illegal sports wagers, allegedly misleading consumers about the nature and legality of the products. The litigation seeks relief on behalf of consumers who lost money trading these contracts. This related complaint will be folded into the consolidated litigation before Judge Edward M. Chen of the Northern District of California, for which Wolf Popper partner Philip M. Black has been appointed co-Interim Class Counsel.
