Wolf Popper represents advertisers in this consumer class action who allege that Google improperly overcharged them in connection with Google’s AdWords program in CLRB Hanson Industries, LLC v. Google, Inc., District Case No. C05-03649 JW PVT (N.D. Cal.).  A settlement was reached in 2009, reported to be the 7th largest published settlement in California for 2009, in the amount of $20 million, which was approved by the Chief Judge of the federal court in San Francisco.  The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit unanimously affirmed the approval of the settlement on January 5, 2012.
