In In re Providian Financial Sec. Litig., MDL No. 1301 (E.D. Pa.), Wolf Popper represented the Xerox (GB) Pension Scheme (which manages approximately $2.5 billion in retirement funds for the employees of Xerox Corp’s British subsidiary) as co-lead counsel for the plaintiff class. In approving the settlement in June 2002, the Court remarked on the “extremely high quality” and “skill and efficiency” of plaintiffs’ counsel’s work, which the Court stated it had seen throughout the litigation. The Court also noted the “extremely high quality” of Wolf Popper’s work.
