Philipson v. American Stock Exchange

Wolf Popper represented the Seat Owners of the American Stock Exchange (the “AMEX”) in connection with the 1999 merger of the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. and the AMEX (Philipson v. American Stock Exchange, et al., 99 Civ. 4219 (DC)). In approving the 2004 settlement, the Judge stated that “[t]he Settlement was negotiated with highly experienced, highly competent counsel on both sides” and complimented the Firm for its “terrific job” in negotiating a “substantial [recovery].”
