Prior to joining Wolf Popper in February 2019, Antoinette ("Debi") Adesanya completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol (LL.B., 2014) and subsequently graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M., with distinction, 2016), where she consistently maintained a place on the Dean’s List and simultaneously pursued a Certificate in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution. She earned a secondary postgraduate degree at the Nigerian Law School (B.L., 2017) before becoming licensed to practice law in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Ms. Adesanya has previously worked as a legal intern for two respected firms, one specializing in securities and antitrust law and the other specializing in representing China-based companies doing business in the U.S. An avid volunteer, she is a contributing writer for Felix Magazine, concentrating on biographical articles. She also regularly works with pro bono legal organizations, such as LawHelpNY and Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She is fluent in French.
