Joshua Ruthizer is an associate at Wolf Popper LLP. He is a graduate of Lafayette College (B.A. History, B.A. Philosophy, 2000) and Columbia Law School (J.D., 2003). During law school he interned with Justice Michael Obus, New York State Supreme Court, New York County. Prior to joining Wolf Popper, Mr. Ruthizer spent six years practicing commercial, securities, insurance and intellectual property litigation in New York, New York. Mr. Ruthizer also participated in a six month public interest externship with the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York, first chairing more than fifteen jury trials in New York Supreme Court, Bronx County.
 
Mr. Ruthizer is a member of the Federal and Commercial Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Federal Courts Committee of the New York City Bar Association.

Mr. Ruthizer was awarded the Legal Aid Society's Award for Outstanding Pro Bono service in 2005 and was an Empire State Counsel honoree in 2008.
