Robert Plosky received his B.A. in economics from Tufts University (2003, magna cum laude) and his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School (with honors, 2006).

During law school, Mr. Plosky served as a court-certified student attorney in the GW Law School Federal, Criminal, and Appellate Clinic. Prior to graduation, Mr. Plosky also interned at the Queens County Criminal Court and the Queens County District Attorney’s Office.

After law school, Mr. Plosky served as a law clerk to the Senior Judges of the District of Columbia Superior Court: the Honorable Bruce D. Beaudin, Frederick D. Dorsey, Eugene N. Hamilton, Bruce S. Mencher, Stephen G. Milliken, Truman A. Morrison, III, Ronald P. Wertheim, Susan R. Winfield, and Patricia A. Wynn.

Since joining Wolf Popper, Mr. Plosky has primarily litigated securities class action cases involving prominent financial institutions involved in the recent credit crisis, including IndyMac Bank and Countrywide Financial Corporation. Mr. Plosky also litigates securities class action cases involving non-financial institutions and consumer class action cases.

Mr. Plosky is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
